Flintile has been on the cutting edge of culture and design since it first opened its doors back in 1977, under the leadership of owner and founder Madeline Biggs. That’s right. Our company was launched by a female way back when women business owners were a rarity. With odds of success stacked against her working in a male-dominated industry, Madeline proved herself, championing the company through adversity and hard economic times, as well as boom years.
Small Team, Big Results
Referred to affectionately as “The Barracuda” by her late husband, Madeline was no pushover, known for being fair but stern. She led her employees with great vision and high expectations, gaining respect while watching Flintile excel.
Today we thrive in the small business she built and under the watchful eye of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
